Technical Coordinator

About the role

We are currently looking for a Technical Coordinator to manage and develop the internal production operation for an ambitious and collaborative forward-thinking business. Based in Peterborough you will be working in a fast-paced environment overlooking and maximising the efficiency of holiday lodge production for an industry leading brand. Key duties will focus on producing Bills of Materials and coordinating between the Sales, Production and Design teams to ensure the home is manufactured  to customer specifications. To be successful you will:

  • Ensure that the customer, the purchasing department and the production team have all the information they need with respect to each home we produce
  • Ensure that Bills of Material are developed to enable purchasing to order all the material needed to produce the home
  • Ensure that all drawing packs are produced by the technical team to ensure each home can be manufactured to specification
  • Ensure that the Manual for each home is prepared and delivered to the customer with each unit.
  • Represent the business at all levels, liaising with internal and external customers in a professional manner
  • Work to KPI’s
  • Effective planning and organisation skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ensure processing information is delivered RFTQ and OTIF in accordance with demand
  • Maintain information stations to enable the shop floor to efficiently gain access to specification and manufacturing information.
  • Manage own workload and escalate where necessary.


  • Experience of working within an engineering or production environment, preferably within a lodge or park home manufacturer
  • Ability to organise, prioritise and structure daily activities
  • The ability to work with deadlines
  • Meticulous in preparation and presentation of paperwork systems
  • Good organisational skills and Communication skills
  • High level of IT skills particularly MS Excel and Word
