Park Manager

£35,000 - £40,000

About the role

A fantastic new opportunity has become available for a Park Manager at a luxurious holiday park located in Cambridgeshire.

We are looking for someone who puts the guest at the heart of all decisions, has a natural leadership style and prides themselves on having the best team to deliver an outstanding Guest experience

The overall purpose of the role is to run the day-to-day management of a fast paced and diverse site.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

  • Effective time management, to be able to prioritize tasks
  • Dealing with any issues on park promptly
  • Organisation of team tasks and on-call duties
  • Liaising with suppliers, contractors, holiday homeowners, potential new customers and Head Office team
  • Keep necessary records for Health & Safety and customer and visitor experience
  • Risk Assessments regularly updated
  • Providing necessary paperwork to Head Office promptly
  • Siting and de-siting of holiday homes and connecting service
  • Manage all areas of income to ensures sales target are met and the site operates within or below budgeted costs.
  • To enforce a spend control policy and the adherence to the same
  • To control all stocks, money, and equipment within the site optimising profitability through effective use of stock control and approved suppliers, maximizing stock rotation.
  • Ensure that all reporting team members are fully trained, focused and customer orientated to deliver a best-in-class experience.
  • Ensure the estate is kept in optimal condition and that the bar and bar areas, arcade, pools and customer areas are maintained at a high level of cleanliness.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service, communicating with all parties and agencies where necessary.
  • Comply with and enforce through effective management all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Support the business in all areas of Sales and Marketing
  • Adapt to change and respond positively to new challenge

It is essential that candidates have a proven track record of Park Management within the holiday park/resort industry, have experience of motivating and leading successful teams, and will be target orientated and financially astute.
