Digital Account Director

Since 2014, we have been offering marketing services to the leisure sector and we have set out on a journey of growth in the last 12 months, doubling in size, and with ambitions to double in size again over the next 12 months. We are looking for highly experienced Digital Account Director with a proven track record in an agency environment, with the experience to manage and grow an attractive portfolio of digital client accounts.

You will lead from the front and be responsible for managing and developing the Digital team and provide an exceptional client experience whilst increasing our customer satisfaction rates. With an entrepreneurial approach and a focus on performance along with the ability to work at pace, this pivotal role will help shape the future of our energetic and fun agency.

Who are Cambridge Creative?

Cambridge Creative is a rapidly growing marketing agency based in an attractive village location just outside the city. We have a strong background in the UK holiday park sector and have recently started to expand into b2b, charity and transport sectors. Our capabilities cover both offline and online creative, as well as the focus for this role: digital marketing activities including paid search, paid social, lead generation and HubSpot CRM marketing.

Your role will be hands on and centred around growth, working with existing clients and ensuring smooth on-boarding of new clients. You will be responsible for delivery of cost-effective campaigns and growth strategies to ensure the agencies and our clients commercial targets are achieved. As a growing agency, we can’t stress enough that this is hands on, lead from the front. So not only will you help your team manage their accounts but also manage key accounts yourself.

  • Ensure all client communication are  in-line with the agencies exacting standards at all times
  • Meticulous written skills including either internal documentation, external or client proposals
  • Have an empathetic but sales focused approach with clients
  • Able to think on your feet and offer 360-degree solutions for clients
  • Build long term relationships with clients
  • Manage the team and you own accounts
  • Using the agency systems to best effect, creating detailed reports on sales business and growth.
  • Set long-term and short-term goals, account objectives and commercial targets and manage the entire sales cycle
  • Network with the aim to attract new client relationships
  • Identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell wherever possible
  • Provide day to day account management and customer support as and when required
  • Have an astute commercial approach to all your client accounts
  • Shape objectives and strategies to ensure constant growth
  • Prepare and present reports on KPIs
  • Respond to any issues to ensure customer satisfaction at all times
  • Set performance criteria for your team, motivate, mentor and constantly the team, driving them to exceed expected goals
  • Undertaking team mentoring, performance management and HR and recruitment for your department.
  • Present reports on account performance to all stakeholders
  • Contribute to the agencies growth by new finding prospects and leads
  • Be target driven and work well under pressure

Requirements and qualifications

  • Previous Agency experience in Digital capacity
  • Have at least 3-5 years previous experience in a similar role specialising in Digital Marketing including SEM, CRM, SEM Social and Digital Media
  • Experience with HubSpot an advantage
  • Lead Generation experience is essential
  • A deep understanding of CRO, using best practices to harness solutions
  • Be results focused and conversion-centric, be used to providing precise data to demonstrate ROI with a focus on advanced reporting techniques
  • Extremely commercially aware, ensuring the department is effectively managed to maximise time and cost efficiencies
  • Experience of managing and directing multiple projects with speed, efficiency and attention to detail
  • Have an empathetic but sales focused approach with clients
  • Able to think on your feet and offer 360-degree solutions for clients
  • Have a problem-solving attitude
  • A strong leader and mentor
