We are searching for an experienced Business Development Manager for our client. The role of Business Development Manager will be accountable for the new business sales strategy, customer communication, industry networking, sales presentations, new customer sign up and product sales within the Holiday Park industry.
Responsible for the acquisition of new customers in accordance with targets.
To keep up to date with industry developments and be instrumental in taking advantage of any new Holiday Home or Park Home opportunities.
Creation of proposals following on site surveys.
Creation of and co-ordination of sales & marketing tools to support sales activity
Networking activities including industry exhibitions & shows
Liaison with market intermediaries including:
Holiday home manufacturers
Ensure handover of new customers to the Customer Service / Account Management team
Update of company’s customer / prospect /suspect database (via staff in head office)
Close liaison and interaction with the company’s Account Managers including support with improving sales levels at underperforming customers where relationships are strong
Ensure adherence to key customer Group policies and procedures
Support in the roll out of new products and services
Manage and co-ordinate a range of marketing and promotional events
Monitor all aspects of competitor activity (pricing / product / routes to market) in order to influence product development and pricing proposals.
